This is a tribute section, a very special page I wanted very much. In this section I chosen to speak about series or characters that I loved very much (and of course, I'm still loving). These are thing who changed my life or have a special place in my heart. If you want to make a gift for me, make it about the characters that are shown here, and surely it will be very appreciated. I hope with this section to make new fans of these series/characters, they're worth of. Click the pictures to see a bunch of screenshots I made.

DINOSAUCERS

dinosaucers

"Dinosaucers" (C) 1987 Coca-Cola Telecommunications

"We used to be four ordinary teenagers, until one day we met some new friends, from out of town. They were called Dinosaucers. My friends and I became the Secret Scouts, allies to these Dinosaucers from outer space, and joined their battle against Genghis Rex and the evil Tyrannos."

This is the opening theme for the TV-show "Dinosaucers", one of 80's best series. It is a perfect mix between humor, action and philosophy. Seeing how "aliens" interact with human technology and culture will make you laugh, some episodes will make you cry, some others will make you think about our world and how much we are destroying it. Everytime you watch an episode, you will wish to be friend of the Dinosaucers and to hug them at least once in your life. Definitively one of the shows everyone has to see in their life.
I also have to mention the soundtrack, it is fantastic, I would love to a record of it but sadly it's never been produced.

"Digimon" (C) Akiyoshi Hongo ・ Toei Animation. TM & (C) 1997-2006 Bandai

Have you ever imagined another world in your dreams? A world where everything is possible and any dream could become reality? This world exists: it's the "Digital World". A parallel world where living creatures called "digital monsters" usually live in peace. But sadly some of them are evil. Garurumon is one of the "Digimon" who fight against the evil, helped by human children and other digital monsters as well. Each Digimon has the ability to "evolve": this means they can reach higher levels of power, changing their appereance too. Garurumon and Weregarurumon are two shapes of the same soul. There's others forms of him, in total he has six important shapes: Punimon, Tsunomon, Gabumon, Garurumon, Weregarurumon and Metalgarurumon (from the smallest to the most powerful).
I like Garurumon very much, he's friendly, brave and he tries his best to help a friend. He's a very good friend, someone who will never betray you, someone who will fight to death to help you. As a matter of fact, in the anime he's related to the "Friendship"
Garurumon is about as big like a bus and if you are good friends he'll surely give to you the permission to ride him. Weregarurumon, as told, is his next evolution, a strong and powerful werewolf. His shape changes but his heart is the same.
I like him very much, because of his soul and because of his body. A friend who will never betray you, and a guardian wolf who can protect you from everything.

MIHIRA IPPEI

三平一平

ippei

"Tsurikichi Sanpei" (C) 1980 Takao Yaguchi ・ Nippon Animation

Ippei is a fisherman and he's an artisan, a fishing rod manifacturing master. His name is known in almost all Japan. He's living with his grandson Sanpei in the 70's Japan, in a rural area where metropolis, pollution, and expansionism haven't still ruined the nature.
He's very sage as a sixty years old people are supposed to be. I like very much his personality and his behaviour. He's calm, smart and he knows how to do in every situation, plus he has a very good culture of the past. I started to like Japan from him, with him I discovered a part of Japan who is hidden to western people, a part where there's not giant robots, neko girls with boobs or people with superpowers. A part where exist only your life and your relation with the nature you're in. The respect for the fauna and flora, a simple life (even if hard sometimes), a place where you can still breath pure air and not polluted air, a simple life but that makes you very rich inside.
I would like to have the same life as him, but I admit, as things are now, I will not be able to live it for more than three days, and this is what I regret mostly from my life.
If you're interested in him search for a manga or anime called "Tsurikichi Sanpei" and you'll get some info. I don't know how it was distributed outside Japan, but in Japan both of manga and anime are in the Olympus of the best productions.
Ippei is inspired by the autor's grandfather.

"Tokusou Sentai Dekaranger" (C) 2004 TV Asahi ・Toei

(C)2004テレビ朝日・東映エージエンシー・東映

The Space Police was founded to protect the Universe from intergalactic criminals.
Doggy "Boss" Kruger is the Earth section Commander and he leads the group called Tokusou Sentai Dekaranger.
He's strong, smart, kind, brave and honest, his soul is pure, he really is a perfect warrior of justice.
He was given the name of "Jigoku no Banken" (Guard dog of Hell) because of his skill to fight space bandits.
He came from the Anubis solar system and he's from the Shep tribe. He's a very good swordsman and his blade, "D-sword Vega" is one of the most powrful swords in all the universe. He can use the SPD license to transform to Dekamaster and fight villains using a special suits that enhances his speed and strenght.
He has an intimate relationship with Swan Shiratori. She is the technical engineer of the group.
If you want to watch "Tokusou Sentai Dekaranger" you'll have to look for the Japanese version of it, since the western adaptation "Power Rangers SPD" is really different from the original (not only story and plot wise, also all the characters look different: the American Doggy Kruger looks like a scaled dog with dreadlocks!!!).

MEBUKI NO BANNAI

陰陽大戦記 (C) 海童博行・富沢義彦/集英社・WiZ・サンライズ・陰陽製作委員会・テレビ東京 2004

Mebuki no Bannai, is a Shikigami. He's from the series Onmyou Taisenki. His name means "Bannai of the bud", his element is the soil and he's related to the period that goes from March the 6th to March the 20th.
Not much of him is known. He's a nice lizard type Shikigami, he uses a sort of whip like weapon and according to the manga and the GameBoy Advance game "Onmyou Taisenki: Zeroshiki" he is sort of a mage and he has a very kind nature.
In the manga he got a very good part, about half of the second volume features him; in the videogame he's one of your first Shikigami. Unfortunately, in the anime he only appears for a few seconds before being defeated by one of the most powerful Shikigami: Byakko no Rangetsu.
This is all I know about him, but since the first time I've seen him, I fall in love with him.
I liked very much to play with him in the videogame, he was my first choice in every fight I had and only in the further levels I had to opt for other Shikigami (because they got better attacks).
Since the show didn't give him the right importance, I'd like to be the one doing it.
Bad thing about the show, if you loose a fight, your Shikigami will vanish and you'll lose your memories about him. A valid reason to fight with all yourself not to lose the friendship with him.
